Settlement for a local gentleman who was injured in a collision where the other driver suddenly pulled out of a side road, causing our client to hit that vehicle. The other driver's insurance company said “we hit them“ so they fought the case and denied liability, but we gathered all the proof necessary to prove they were at fault and they paid their $25,000 policy limits toward a settlement for our client, and we also made a claim against our client's UM / Uninsured Motorist coverage, resulting in another $87,500 settlement being paid to our client to pay his damage claims and help his life. We were glad to see that our client made the wise decision to buy UM coverage when he purchased his car insurance, so that we could get him additional compensation for his injury claims even though the other driver only had the minimum liability policy limits of 25K required by Georgia law, and we urge all Georgia drivers to buy UM coverage to protect their futures in case “The Other Guy“ only buys the minimum 25K coverage.
