Robert W. Mooradian, a seasoned prosecutor with more than a decade of experience in serious felony trials and appeals, will join The Cummins Firm in January 2025.
Currently serving as Chief Deputy Assistant District Attorney for the Coweta Judicial Circuit, Mooradian brings a wealth of legal expertise to his new role. As part of the firm's expanding practice, he will focus on criminal defense and personal injury cases.
Mooradian's career as a prosecutor is distinguished by his work on over 30 felony trials, ranging from drug offenses to murder cases. Most of these trials involved jury trials. His appellate experience includes presenting oral arguments in two cases before the Georgia Supreme Court.
Beyond his courtroom accomplishments, Mooradian helped create and implement the Coweta Judicial Circuit's Pretrial Diversion Program, which provides alternatives to incarceration for eligible offenders.
A native of Newnan, Mooradian graduated from Newnan High School in 2000. He earned his undergraduate degree in legal studies from the University of California at Berkeley before returning to Georgia to pursue his law degree at Georgia State University College of Law.
He began his career as an Assistant District Attorney in 2013 and was promoted to Chief Deputy ADA in 2020.
Mooradian expressed enthusiasm for his transition to private practice.
